Escalayer on mdd body
As you ptobably remember from my numerous posts about Escalayer and how cute I thought she was. I really thought I liked the Escalayer head. I brought her from someone doing a split back in February and had a long wait.
As picture online started emerging from the japanese owners, I found she was very adorable, but then sometimes when I saw her, she wasn’t cute to me at all. Se the thing was, shes not as versatile from all angles as most dd are and that bothered me.
I love Lilly
I recently got this most beautiful dress set for my Lilly and I must say, I think it suits her a treat. It’s a very old Volks Dollfie Dream set and I was lucky enough to find someone selling it second hand for a great price, I just had to snap it up. Thankfully for it’s age, the set was in very good condition and it fits superbly. The weather was crappy lately, but I just couldn’t wait anymore before taking some pics, especially since it was for Lilly.
Amber wanted to be a maid today
Yesterday something fun happened. I got a new doll wig in the post, my fiance kindly brought it for me. I wanted it for ages and I found it second hand for the bargain price of $25! I just couldn’t pass it by. I’m expecting a couple more things too, but the wig came first.
So to celebrate Ambers new wig and new look, we just had to do a photoshoot and show the world right?
Of course we do! So that is exactly what we did.

So recently over the last couple of months, my doll group has changed quite a bit. I decided to sell Hideki and Bellamy, I was sad to see them go but I’m glad they have new homes with people who appreciate them more then I could. We also had a new addition in the form of Marya.
I’ve decided to make a page dedicated to the dolls that I currently own. I find it interesting knowing what dolls other people have, so I thought I’d put all mine together on one page too with some info about them.

I can't resist Dollfie Dream legs
I’ve finally gotten around to doing a photo shoot of my lovely Marya. She’s still called Marya, since she still only has her default dress set its kinda hard to see her as anything but Marya ^^;\ I’m still unemployed so I haven’t been able to spoil the dorries like I usually would.
I do love Marya, she’s probably my fave now, second only to my darling, Lilly. She’s probably the best present ever. Follow the jump for some proper (and long deserved) pic spammage.
Nanoha from Nanoha StrikerS
Volks are going to be making a dollfie dream of Nanoha from the anime Nanoha StrikerS for the happy sum of 76000 yen.
She will be normal skin, medium bust,come with the outfit, eyes, wigs and shoes as seen in the link, but a separate outfit will also be available which has her instructor uniform and wig.
Personally I don’t like her, her mouth seems a bit off somehow to me, but I’d love to see what other owners do with her.

Finally got round to taking some pics of this girl. Sadly I’ve been really busy since I got her and I really haven’t had the chance to appreciate or get to know her which is a shame, but I do so love her all the same.

News just in folks! Volks appear to be making Dollfie Dream dolls of popular characters Yoko and Nia from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan.
Details are very minimal at the moment however it appears they will be sold through a web only event. Could be exciting.
Will update once further info is gathered.

Let me just take this quick opportunity to wish all of you friends and fans out there a happy Valentines day! Hope you all have a smashing day, even if you don’t have a partner, just go and do something fun that makes you happy, enjoy it! I know I will.
Fiancé and I don’t have any typical special plans today, we never do, we just go out and have fun in our own not so stereotypical Valentines day way. It’s also my birthday today, so we celebrate that too. I’m actually visiting my nan today since we always do every Saturday so that’s gonna be nice for a change. Anythign else that happens, I’ll just see how it unfolds.
More Escalayers, are you bored of her yet?
…yes another Escalayer blog entry. I’m most excited to post this one however. I have today caved in a decided to buy the DDD Escalayer head! It’s excellent for me because I don’t like the dd dynamite body and the outfit and wig is useless to me, but I loooved the head.
The bad part though is although winners of the lottery have already been confirmed, the dolls don’t actually get sent to the winners until May! So I’ve got a loooong wait ahead of me ;_; it’s sure to be worth it though right?
