Sweet Lilly

I just love this Volks dress set.

I just love this Volks dress set.

Just wanted to give my Lilly some lovin. These pictures were taken in the summer, but I didn’t have my blog back then so they were never posted anywhere, but I like her so much in this outfit, I wanted to share now I have a place to do so.

I’m also very excited about getting Marya, it will be nice to have another Lilly size dd. My mdd Amber is cute, but out of proportian with Lilly so it can be awkward. Marya should arrive at my helpers place by the 20th Jan, if I’m lucky, I might get Marya before Feb.

She doesnt seem very confident about being a cutesy, kiss blowing waitress.

I think pale blue suits Lillys light features very well. I want to get more pale blue items for her.

I love how angles can change her. She looked sweet and happy from a front viewing angle. At this angle she looks irritable I think.

For any guys looking, heres a panty shot for you, but dont tell her I showed you.

Shes not really wearing panties, its a lingirie bodysuit. I need to get round to buying her some underwear that suits her more. She really isnt a sexy kind of lady, but this is the only underwear she has for now. Shell have to tolerate it for now.

did u apply MSC UV cut ?
if not that doll is going to yellow fast.

  2. She’s not going to go yellow fast.

For a start, it’s not like she is displayed out in direct sunlight in the garden all the time. We were outside for about 15 minutes.

Secondly, she isn’t a resin doll, she is vinyl. Although vinyl dolls can still be discolored with time, they don’t discolor fast like a resin or french resin bjd will when they yellow.

And finally, I have eight dolls at the moment and have been a bjd owner for four years or so. I think I know how to treat them properly. Even my Volks Old Skin MSD Midori has barely yellowed at all. In comparison to brand new Volks pureskin, there’s is only a fine difference.

Midori has never once been coated so I think that is a good testament to my ability to maintain my dolls correctly.

  3. She’s quite pretty, I just love seeing doll shoots since I’m not able to go out and buy them (yet). She sort of reminds me of Yuki Nagato.

  4. Gawd she’s lovely…. How much was she? I can tell she’s big from the bricks behind her….. Gawd I want one….

  5. @Meimi: When I first brought her, I got her second hand from a doll forum. I got a good deal because dollfie dream aren’t so poular outside of Japan so you don’t get the buyers or higher prices like you see on yahoo japan for the dolls. She was also cheaper because she didn’t have her original wig or outfit.

I don’t remember exactly how much I paid for her, but it was around £200 or so. A couple of months ago though, someone sold a DD Yashiro Kasumi on yahoo japan and she went for well over £500! She’s one of the rareset dollfie dreams because she’s one of the older ones so she doesn’t pop up much for sale.

I always say that if you really like the look of them and can spare the cash, you should give it a go. Even if you find out the dolls aren’t really for you, you can usually sell the doll to someone else for the same or more then what you paid for it.
