Volks USA shopping cart page.

So, at the end of 2008, my fiance said that in the new year, he would like to buy me a new doll. Fantastic! I had my eye on entering the Volks after event lottery for Saber Alter.  So when the lottery opened I told dear fiance how much Saber Alter would be. He then decides he couldn’t quite afford it after all so in the end I missed the lottery, no Saber Alter for me. However, on the 11th January,  fiance decides to give me the go ahead to buy her because he could afford it after all. Well the lottery was closed now, so I couldn’t get Saber Alter, but never giving up, I found a new doll to get instead.

I now had my eye on Volks Dollfie Dream Lost Angels Marya. Trouble was, Marya was on Volks USA and I am in the UK. I needed help, someone who could buy Marya from the Volks USA site, get it delivered to them, then ship it to me once received. It had to be done, I’ve loved Marya for a long time and missed out on her before, now it had to be her who came home, no one else would do. I managed to find a lovely person over at the DOA who could help me, hooray.

I sent the payment to my kind helper this morning and she purchased Marya for me! I am so excited. Although the person has great selling, trading and customising feedback, of course I was still worried about sending so much money to a complete stranger (money to theamount of US$610, a fair sum to be concerned about) so I thought I’d go back to the volks USA page and check. So I did and the above image is what I saw. So it looks like my dear Marya was the very last one in stock, which somehow makes me all the more happier.

Now I just have to (try) be patient waiting for her to arrive to my helper, then get her sent on to me. The biggest concern now is will I get customs fees? I sure hope not.
