World of Warcraft?

My fiancé has been playing World of Warcraft, or WOW for a long time now. Longer then I can care to remember.  He’s always wanted me to play but I have been refusing him for a very long time. I’m not a huge fan of MMO’s, I don’t like socializing or partying in big groups, I think graphically most aspects of WOW are really ugly and unappealing and I just didn’t think it would be the kind of game I would enjoy.

Last Saturday, I finally decided to give it a go, for curiosity sake if nothing else. I decided to play a Draenei Hunter and there she is.

New clothes

I got a new outfit set in the mail today, and a very cute set it is. Its from Volks La Personal Collection blue range and was released at Home town Kyoto dollpa 5. The stockings are from a seperate Volks set.

I love the quality and detail of Volks clothes and this piece did not dissapoint. I have a few Volks sets for my dolls and they are all lovely (and expensive).

The skirt on this set is a bit short for my liking, but overall I love the set anyway and it’s so cute.

Feena Fam Earthlight – Figure Review

Today I’m doing a figure review of one of my fiance’s figures. It’s Feena Fam Earth light, a 1/6 scale from Atelier – Sai. She was released back in 2006.

At first glance she is quite nice, however you soon see she’s not such a good catch after all. The platic has a cheap shiny rubbery feel to it and the paint job isn’t up to scratch either.  Overall the painting looks ok, but some edges are blothed or unpainted and there isn’t much shading going on.

She looks nice from a distance, but not the kinda figure you want to see up close all the time on your desk or a near by shelf for example.

I just love this Volks dress set.

I just love this Volks dress set.

Just wanted to give my Lilly some lovin. These pictures were taken in the summer, but I didn’t have my blog back then so they were never posted anywhere, but I like her so much in this outfit, I wanted to share now I have a place to do so.

I’m also very excited about getting Marya, it will be nice to have another Lilly size dd. My mdd Amber is cute, but out of proportian with Lilly so it can be awkward. Marya should arrive at my helpers place by the 20th Jan, if I’m lucky, I might get Marya before Feb.

So, at the end of 2008, my fiance said that in the new year, he would like to buy me a new doll. Fantastic! I had my eye on entering the Volks after event lottery for Saber Alter.  So when the lottery opened I told dear fiance how much Saber Alter would be. He then decides he couldn’t quite afford it after all so in the end I missed the lottery, no Saber Alter for me. However, on the 11th January,  fiance decides to give me the go ahead to buy her because he could afford it after all. Well the lottery was closed now, so I couldn’t get Saber Alter, but never giving up, I found a new doll to get instead.

Today for your viewing pleasure is Konoe Konoka, from the anime and manga Negima. I got this beauty back in 2007 but she has been discontinued for a long time since then. Produced by Konami and released March 2006. She is non scale and sits at about 17cm tall.

Overall she is good quality and she looks great on display.

My fiance brought me some new shoes yesterday *happy dance*. We were at the shoe shop to exchange a pair of shoes I had brought for a different size. While we were waiting I saw these and fell in shoe love, but I didn’t have the money for another pair. My fiance liked them too though so he insisted on buying them.

I love these shoes and deemed them blog worthy. I shall post my other pair once they arrive. Had to get them delivered because they didn’t have my size in the store.
