The head and body parts I've ordered.
After years of owning bjd, I’ve always wanted a 1/6 scale doll but I always end up getting a new figure or a new bjd instead. Well this week I found out that my employment agency owed me some holiday pay.
I happily found out I’m expected to get about £200 after tax. So I decided that I couldn’t blow the lot on a new bjd since I needed some new clothes and shoes. But I would be able to afford a 1/6 doll. So that’s what I’ve done.
Whats so funny?
Today I got my Konata Figma that I ordered from Archonia. She arrived really fast actually considering she was coming from Europe and I used the cheapest shipping method possible. I really recommend their shop.
I’m pretty please about the figma too, she is not without her flaws though. The figure, great, fine, brilliant as expected. The stand? Not so good.
This was when he was a puppy, but how could I resist posting it. Lookit that face.
Following on from my last post about my cat I decided to make a post about my dog too. It seemed only fair. He is a little boy and his name is Archie. He is a liver and white English Springer Spaniel. He is about 9 months old now.
Archie is very mischievous, but he’s also very stupid. I am not exaggerating even, everyone says how they’ve never seen such a stupid dog. It’s part of his charm though and his mindless antics always have me smiling and laughing. He like to go for long walks at the field by our house and he like to chase his tail. His tail is quite long and it can actually hold it in his mouth and run around holding it. Very funny to see.
He loves people and gets very lonely when no one is around. He loves nothing more then to cuddle up at the end of the sofa in the evening and go to sleep.

So today I wanted to show off my Gundam Girls, Cathy and Reiko. Prettyful aren’t they. I love these two, they’re two of my longest owned figures. They were Made by Banpresto in 2006 (I think) I think they may have been prize figures because they aren’t as high quality as my others, but I still love these two A LOT.
Also although there are a lot of flaws on these figures in photos, they are hardly noticeable in person on display.
Of the two, I prefer Cathy, the Zeon girl in red. Although Earth Feddie Reiko is still very nice.
She can pull of innocent kitty very well.
Like many Cat owners, I love my cat, she means the world to me. She is female, about a year and 3/4 old and her name is Kiwi. She’s not a specific breed, just a regular old moggy. She has a cat flap, so shes both an indoor and outdoor cat.
Kiwi, like all cats, is a right character. She is quite petite, even though she has stopped growing. This however doesn’t stop her from being the boss. Other cats in my area are afraid of Kiwi and if she confronts them, they flee the scene fast. Other cats also don’t dare come in our garden. Her size does not get the better of her.
She isn’t a very Cuddly cat, but she like company, so she’ll linger about a room for the company even without cuddles. She likes to hunt birds, thankfully she doesn’t bring them indoors anymore. She loves most of all, thick long fleece matereal, she will knead fleece for ages.

Figures are always great, Christmas presents are pretty cool too. If you combine the two, its complete awesome cakes.
My Family knowing how awkward I am to buy for just give me money so I can buy what I want. So I brought figures, of course!

So here is a picture of all my 7 bjd together. From left to right they are:
They’re a rather mis matched bunch, but since I don’t think my dolls are family or anything it doesn’t bother me thats they are of mixed asthetics. I like them all very much and I am proud to have them, some of them are very special to me because my fiance brought them for me.
The ones my fiance brought were the Volks Mini Dollfie Dream Mirai, the Fairyland Pukisha and the Soom Teenie Gem Violet. Because my fiance brought these for me, they are very very special, however Midori and Yashiro Kasumi are still my undoubted faves.
Introducing Ibaim
I’ve always wanted a mascot, I think they”re the best idea ever. Making my own blog was the perfect reason to make one, so here she is! Ibaim.
Her name stands for “Intergalactic blog and illustration mascot.” I wanted to go for a sort of spacey cutie look and here’s what I ended up with.
She’s very different from what I initially was thinking for a mascot, but I doodled her down last night and I ended up loving her. So here she is.

Volks MSD Midori is a cutie.
Today I want to show of my fave resin Dollfie. She is as the topic says, a Volks Mini Super Dollfie Midori. I never renamed Midori, because I thought the name was really nice and it just stuck.
Poor Midori is an old girl now, released in 2004 she has been around for a while. Her resin has yellowed slightly due to her age, her face up is getting to the point where she’ll need a new one once I get a job and her body is the old Volks body and resin so it’s not as good as the newer MSD but I love Midori, she’s so sweet.
While my tastes of other dolls have changed with time, I have always loved Midori. Her mold is so beautiful and excellently crafted. No matter where I display her, she always looks happy and carefree and she makes me smile. You don’t see many Midori’s around and I think it’s a shame, she is a very much underrated doll in my opinion.

A little late, but as promised here is my other dollfie dream, Named Lilly.
She is the limited Yashiro Kasumi dollfie dream. I am very proud to have her because she is very rare and not seen on the after market much. I saw one sell on Yahoo Japan once for almost £500! I only paid about £200 for her when I got her. She is very hard to come by now, so she is very precious to me.
My Lilly is probably my fave out of my seven dolls, shes just so adorable.
