Dunno if you have it in you country, but over here we have a company called Me To You who make a series of bears, cards, ornaments, statuettes and other stuff with the character Tatty Teddy He is a grey bear with a blue nose. I suggest you read his story, it’s not very long but is a really sweet one ^^
My fiance very kindly brought this for me as a post Christmas present.
Hatsune Miku – For one night only
December 29, 2008 at 1:45 am | In figures | 4 CommentsMy dear sweet fiance got me the lurvely Hatsune Miku figma for Christmas. She is very nice and very cute although I don’t like her alternative face (the teeth stick out too much)
I have found that Miku is very photogenic. The camera loves her, as do I. Hopefully you’ll love her too. After all, everyone loves Miku right?
Made by Max Factory and still availible in most figure shops at the moment, she always sells out fast though so get her fast or she’ll be going, going, GONE before you can even blink.
Noumi Kudryavka – Figure Review
December 28, 2008 at 12:49 pm | In figures | 3 CommentsTags: 1/8, figure, Little Busters, Noumi Kudryavka, pvc, scale, toys works
I consider myself a very lucky lady as I received this figure as a Christmas from my brother. I love her a lot and she was a very pleasant surprise.
She is Noumi Kudryavka from Little Busters. She is 1/8 scale and stands at around 7 1/2 inches tall. She was produced by Toys Works and released in Late April, 2008 however she is now discontinued. Some international importers may still have her, but Hobby Search is listed as long sold out. Overall she is a very nice figure, he pose is dynamic, her face is cute, the painting is very good with nice shadowing details and no bad seam lines. She’s my first Toys Works figure but I must say I am pleased with the quality, if I saw another figure of theirs I liked, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. Also she screws into her display base and she is very sturdy.
Merry Christmas!

To everyone and anyone who may be reading this, I hope you are all having/will have a great day and that the love and happiness will keep on rolling into the new year too. I’m sure you all deserve the bestest of times.
Volks YO SD Kuuta 2nd
December 22, 2008 at 9:47 pm | In Super Dollfie/BJD | Leave a CommentTags: ABJD, bjd, Dollfie, KUUTA, SD, super dollfie, Volks, YO SD
Today I wanted to show off some old pics of my sweet little YO SD, Hideki. Hideki is the personal name I gave to the doll, his company name from Volks is Kuuta and he is the 2nd release version.
He was originally released during the Dollpas held November/December 2007. YO SD by Volks are small dolls which are supposed resemble small children, but many people see them as ‘chibi’ dolls. Sadly all YO SD Dolls are limited editions so they can be pricey although most aren’t hard to obtain.

Rin Kagamine nendo is love
December 21, 2008 at 2:42 pm | In figures | 3 CommentsTags: Good Smile Company, Goodsmile, Nendoroid, non scale, PVC FIGURE, Rin Kagamine, Vocaloid
Yesterday my friend brought me the lovely cutie Rin Kagamine Nendoroid for Christmas. I got her early because we won’t see him now until after Christmas so he wanted to give them early rather then late.
She broke my Nendoroid virginity and I think now I may just be a bit addicted. Can’t wait to get my pre ordered Kaito nendo now, February 2009 seems so far away.
As expected from Goodsmile, the quality and sculpt of this figure is second to none.
Christmas in Portsmouth
December 20, 2008 at 11:50 am | In Misc | 2 CommentsTags: German Christmas Market, Portsmouth, Shopping, Woolworths
Yesterday my fiance and I went out to Portsmouth for some last minute Christmas shopping and I was shopping for some new shoes. Since the German Christmas Market was in the city today, I decided to take some photo’s of my day.
Of course, this being England, our bus was delayed and running 20 minutes late. It’s quite common in England for busses and trains to be late unfortinatly.
Dollfie Dream Dynamite Esclayer
December 18, 2008 at 10:26 pm | In dollfie dream | 2 CommentsTags: COMICMARKET 75, dd, DDD, dollfie dream, Dollfie Dream Dynamite, ESCLAYER, Volks
Finally, we have new information about the Esclayer Dollfie Dream Dynamite, great. But wait, what’s this Volks? Why won’t you show us her head? Yeah, sad but true. Even though Volks have now put an information page up, they still haven’t shown us what her face mold is like. No signs of what her eyes, wig or dress is like either.
What we do now know, aside from this is that she will be sold at the Comic Market75 from the 28th-30th of December. She will retail at 60,900 yen.
There also appears be a dress set for sale which seems to be a school uniform type outfit from the series which will retail for 13,440 yen. That’s all the news I have for now, will update once I learn anything new about the elusive Esclayer DDD.
Christmas, go figure.

In my family, Christmas is about close family and togetherness. We will have a proper Christmas dinner and spend the day together at home. Laughing, joking, reminiscing about days gone by. It’s always a cosy and heartwarming affair and it’s a shame when you go to sleep and the next day everything goes ‘back to normal’.
Of course, we still give and receive presents too. It’s not as important as the family aspect, but we still like it of course. This year though, I’m particularly excited. I am going to have figure overload this Christmas! It seems everyone has brought me figures, and my mum and nan gave me money to buy my own presents, so I brought figures with that too!
I’ll be getting 8 figures this Christmas, how cool is that. 4 are what I brought with my mums gift money, 1 is what I brought with my nan’s gift money and my brother, friend and fiance have all brought me a figure each to.
I’m going to have a lot of figure reviews to get through one Christmas is over.
